FAQs
What’s the catch? Is it really free?
There’s no catch. Our services are offered at no cost, as another resource and support for wellbeing, by the health insurance plan that covers the teen.
I already have health insurance. I don’t need this.
We work with your health insurance, on their behalf, to connect you to the support you need, when you need it. We can help you:
- Find a doctor
- Make an appointment
- Use your health plan benefits
- Connect to resources for food, transportation, housing, and more
- Set personal goals and a plan to achieve them
- Manage stress, anxiety, depression
- Feel less lonely and isolated
Our service and app are offered at no cost to members of many health plans across the nation. You can check your eligibility by calling 1-855-499-4777
I don’t like using apps. Is it required?
Nope. You can get all the benefits of our service by talking to our knowledgeable, caring staff. Just call!
Talking on the phone isn’t for me.
The app has the same resources and tools our health care mentors use so you can connect quickly with the support you need. You can also direct message (DM) with a mentor from within the app.
What about safety and privacy?
Pyx Health is HIPAA compliant and HITRUST certified, which means we adhere to the strictest standards of data security in health care. We do not share data with ANY entity except your health insurance plan. You can read our terms and conditions and privacy policy before signing up.
How do I know that I qualify?
Just call us at 1-855-499-4777 and we’ll check your eligibility and help you enroll.
What languages do you support?
Our app is available in both English and Spanish. Many of our support staff are bilingual in English and Spanish. And for other languages, we use a professional translation service that is immediately available during phone calls.
I have a therapist. What can a health care mentor do for me?
You can lean on your mentor for help taking care of the things that get in the way of health and happiness. They can help you understand and navigate your benefits, find a doctor, and make appointments. They can also help with rides and food resources. And if you need someone to talk to between therapy visits, we’re here.
